Mesohori<\/strong> is one of the most picturesque villages in Karpathos.<\/p>\n

It is located 31 km northwest of the capital and is built on a hill. It has stunning views, while the whole village is a lively sight. With its unspoiled traditional beauty and authentic island identity, it impresses every visitor.<\/p>\n

Walk through the streets of the settlement and admire the excellent architecture of the houses and public buildings. The narrow alleyways end up in stone-wide stairs, leading to the old neighborhoods of the village.<\/p>\n

The port of the area is the small seaside village of Lefkos<\/strong>. It is the main resort village of Mesohori, which has become a tourist resort in recent years.<\/p>\n

Thanks to its beautiful beach, it attracts thousands of visitors each summer.<\/p>\n

Here you will find hotels and several rented apartments.<\/p>\n

Just opposite to Lefkos you will see the island of Shokastro<\/strong>, where there are important antiquities, but no excavations have yet been done.<\/p>\n

4 km from Mesohori is one of the oldest villages on the island, Spoa<\/strong> which also maintains its traditional figure and captivates its guests.<\/p>\n

During your stay in the Mesohori area, you will swim at the beach of Lefkos, Limanaki<\/strong>, Potali<\/strong>, Perdika<\/strong>, Potamos<\/strong> and Fragolimniona<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
