The sculpture of an old woman, dressed in traditional clothes, looking towards the sea waiting for the return of those who emigrated is paying tribute to the immigrants and the contribution of the Olympian women. The immigrants helped to develop the land through the remittances they sent to their relatives on the island, but immigration was also a wound for the Carpathians. These emotions are depicted in the form of the woman who is waiting for the expatriates.
