Karpathos has a bus network that connects Pigadia with the villages and some of the beaches of the islands.
The buses go in various hours to the villages of Ammoopi and Piles, via Aperi, Volada and Othos, and to Arkasa, via Menetes and Lefkos.
There is a special bus that connects the capital of the island with the village Olympos. This bus runs three times a day throughout the year.
